How Onsen protects your data and how to manage your privacy settings.
Overview
Your privacy matters. All your journal entries, conversations, and personal data are protected with strong security, and you have full control over what happens to it.
Data Encryption
Onsen encrypts your data both in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest (encrypted cloud databases). Your personal information is never shared with third parties — only you and Onsen's AI (for generating responses) have access to your entries and conversations.
Deleting Your Account
If you want to permanently delete your Onsen account and all associated data, go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm, because this action is irreversible.
What gets deleted:
- All journal entries and their AI-generated insights and artwork
- All chat conversations and guided experience history
- Your profile information, preferences, and AI guide settings
- All notification preferences and usage data
There is no way to recover your account or data after deletion, so please be sure before confirming.
