Overview

Affirmation Meditation is a guided meditation experience that weaves three affirmation techniques — compassionate self-acceptance, resilience, and breathwork — into a single, personalized practice. Your guide draws on your recent journal entries to make each step feel relevant to where you are right now.

How It Works

Step 1 — Choose Your Topic

Your guide opens with a warm introduction and offers a set of personalized topic suggestions drawn from your recent entries. You can tap one of the suggestions, type your own topic, or speak it aloud. Once you select a focus, the guide summarizes what it found in your journal that relates to the topic and shows you a "Continue to Meditation" button when it is ready to proceed.

Step 2 — Meditation

Unlike other experiences, meditation experiences are designed to be hands-free. Read Aloud switches on automatically so you can close your eyes and follow along by listening. The AI's voice plays back in real time as each passage streams — you hear it as it is being written, rather than after. Each passage advances to the next automatically after a brief pause, so there is nothing to tap, type, or read.

Compassionate Affirmation. The guide invites you to bring a recent challenge or moment of self-doubt to mind and approach it with kindness. You are prompted to choose an affirmation that reflects acceptance — something that honors the journey you have been on.

Resilience Affirmation. Next, the guide asks you to visualize yourself emerging from that challenge stronger and wiser. You reflect on a personal accomplishment or moment of growth, then choose an affirmation that acknowledges your strength and capacity to adapt.

Self-Worth Affirmation with Breathwork. In the final passage, the guide introduces a short affirmation tied to your sense of inner worth. It speaks the affirmation three times aloud, inhaling and exhaling audibly with each repetition, so you can follow along. Each breath in carries the affirmation; each breath out releases lingering self-doubt.

The guide then brings the meditation to a close by revisiting all three affirmations one at a time, leaving a pause after each for you to repeat it.

Step 3 — Journal

After the meditation, your guide drafts a journal entry that captures the themes and affirmations from the experience. You can edit the text before saving it, then tap "Add to Journal" to store it in your journal.
